Turning the Page 2: Telling Your Story

Purpose: To take the data learned in session 1, “Public Perceptions”, and apply it to create your own library story.

Goals:

  1. Create a compelling story about your library that excites supporters and turns that excitement into action
  2. Help you develop and practice your public speaking skills so you can effectively tell your library’s story

There are three types of stories:

  • Anecdote story 
  • Factual story
  • Emotional inspiring story
