Turning the Page Online

Turning the Page Online is a FREE library advocacy training course developed and presented Turning the Pageby the Public Library Association (PLA) with generous support from The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. This program is designed to give the skills and confidence people need to advocate successfully on behalf of their libraries.

  7. Building Relationships(How to Make and Keep Them)
  8. Make it Memorable (How to Sell Your Story and Get Results)
  9. Staying on Track (Managing and Measuring Your Advocacy Project)
  10. Show Me the Money (Tips for Making Public Funding Requests)
  11. What’s Next? (Preparing Your Advocacy Plan for Implementation)

To receive a certificate of completion, Getting Started, What’s Next and four electives must be completed. Estimated total time: 4-5 hours.
