ILEAD Utah: The Whole Leader

Presenter: Michael Whitchurch. In today’s hectic world of information proliferation and the hectic pace of work life it is hard to manage the day-to-day operations and issues facing us, let alone dealing with management of the people reporting to us. Add on top of that dealing with upper management and helping them recognize the work that we, and those who report to us, do.

So how do we as leaders, regardless of hierarchical position, use our whole selves to further the mission of the organization while furthering the goals of our individual unit? To do this we must first learn about ourselves. In this one hour session we will participate in a discussion of the “Four Frames” (Bolman and Deal). In doing so we will come to a clearer understanding of personal management style and how to use it in the workplace.
