E-Rate 2.0: What it means for your library

E-rate, the Schools and Libraries Universal Service Program, has just E-rate UENundergone the greatest transformation since it was originally authorized in 1996. These changes offer new opportunities previously unavailable to many E-rate eligible libraries in Utah. Join us in a Utah Education Network (UEN) E-rate webinar session where we’ll discuss these changes, offer our perspective on new opportunities, and brainstorm with library constituents on how to best take advantage of E-rate 2.0.

  • New Annual Funding Cap – $3.9 Billion annually
  • Category 2 (formerly known as Priority 2) additional funding and new service possibilities
  • E-rate qualification, competitive bidding, application process, and timelines
